Otakuthon 2012 Con Report
A few weekends ago I attended Otakuthon in Montreal, Quebec (Canada). It is hands-down one of my favourite Canadian cons and I always make an effort to debut something special there. It is located right in downtown Montreal, so I always feel like I'm in a combination of con/vacation. Montreal is also a very beautiful city with plenty of elegant and regal shoot locations.
TL/DR Below
Thursday
Thursday turned into a bit of a nightmare and I'll tell you why:
-A worked on my Dark Elf costume all the way until 6AM
-I woke up around 9 AMish to prep for departure and allotted about 1 hour to pack
-I end up being in the shower for an hour doi
Moemura, Ghibli, FFX-2, and Fire Emblem. Oh My!
It's cosplay crunch time! Anime North, the biggest Canadian anime convention, is sneaking up on me again and I'm already behind. I'm not sure if I'm going to plan something big. I really want to, but realistically it's April. I work full-time. I'm planning a wedding all of a sudden. Nope, probably not going to happen. As a result, I'm going to keep myself occupied with smaller cosplay projects! Now, you might be thinking "That makes no sense, why doesn't she just do

Katsucon Con Report
The beginning of 2012 has been a whirlwind for me in terms of record number of cons. Prior to Katsucon, I attended G-Anime in Gatineau Quebec as a special cosplay guest. That was a fun experience and I always love being immersed in the Francophone part of Canada. I may not understand t
The cookie that changed my life (BIG NEWS!)
The Best Fortune Cookie Ever
~alucardleashed (https://www.deviantart.com/alucardleashed) proposed to me last night on Valentine's Day. He hid the important question inside a mega fortune cookie (seriously, this cookie was the size of my head!). I said yes, and now we're engaged. :D
It was a total surprise because Jack knows I think it's lame and cliche to get proposed to/married on Valentine's Day. He knew I'd assume he'd respect my opinion, and just not do it
but men don't always listen.
For those of you who are itching to see the ring at Katsucon, unfortunately it had to get sent for resizing. Which means I don't get it back until after the weekend.

It's alright, no apologies needed...
I know a friend who is busy with preparations for her own wedding.
It's hard work and a detail-oriented affair and must be memorable. No question. n__n
It's understandable to place other work on the back burner.
