A small comic convention was coming up and I impulsively decided to dress up as Gogo. I've always kind of wanted to cosplay her since the movie came out, but I never got around to it. This was PERFECT for a casual day at a low-key event.

This took me about a day to put together. The blazer is store-bought and altered (it was too big, and I changed the buttons). The bow I had lying around from another costume, and the patch is painted on.

The skirt was made by me, and the hardest part of the process was finding a proper plaid pattern!! Gogo's skirt is supposed to be bluish, but I had to go with a black plaid since that's all I could find in Toronto on such short notice. It was the LAST .75m on the bolt too...so I was really lucky. Everything else was too Scottish or was the wrong colour scheme.

I love my prop :3. I made that too out of a toy ball, garden chains, and wonderflex.
